Fanny Mather

Fanny was born on July 8th, 1836 in Edgworth and her baptism took place on September 4th, 1836 at Edgworth Independent.¹

Fanny's father was Isaac Mather and her mother was Betty Garside. Her paternal grandparents were Solomon Mather and Mary (Mally) Grime. She had three half-brothers and five half-sisters, named William, James, Henry, Mary, Elizabeth, Susannah, Mary and Sarah. She died at the age of 1 in September 1837 in Edgworth.²

General Notes
- Fanny was probably named after Isaac's youngest sister, Fanny born 5 years earlier (also baptised at Edgworth Independant).
  
  Fammy died Sep 1842 (registered Bury), aged 1. However there is a Fanny Mather aged 7 with Thomas and Ann Mather in 1841, but this is another (unrelated).
