Ethel Mather

Ethel was born in September 1907 in Sheffield.¹

Birth Notes

Ethel's father was Harry Clifton Mather and her mother was Eliza Taylor. Her paternal grandparents were William Mather and Margaret Machin; her maternal grandparents were James Taylor and Elizabeth Southall. She had four brothers and a sister, named Harry, William, Harold, Ernest and Edith. She was the youngest of the six children.
