Ellen Mather

Ellen was born in December 1840 in Little Hulton and her baptism took place on January 17th, 1841 at St. Mary (Ellenbrook).¹

Birth Notes

Ellen's father was Ellis Mather and her mother was Elizabeth Cook. Her paternal grandparents were Ellis Mather and Ann Thornley. She had four brothers and two sisters, named John, Ellis, Charles, Thomas, Ann and Frances. She was the fourth oldest of the seven children.
