Ann Mather

Ann was born in 1834 in Little Hulton and her baptism took place on April 20th, 1834 at St. Mary (Ellenbrook).¹

Ann's father was Ellis Mather and her mother was Elizabeth Cook.  Her paternal grandparents were Ellis Mather and Ann Thornley. She had four brothers and two sisters, named John, Ellis, Charles, Thomas, Frances and Ellen.  She was the second oldest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 37 in March 1871 in Bolton.²

‌Ann and Samuel were married in a religious ceremony on February 19th, 1860 at St. Mary (Deane).³   The family line is yet to be completed.
