Edmund Mather

Edmund was born in 1823 in Newchurch in Rossendale and his baptism took place there on May 4th, 1823.¹

Edmund's father was Edmund Mather and his mother was Frances (Fanny) Holt. His paternal grandparents were Robert Mather and Peggy Duerden. He had a brother and two sisters, named James, Elizabeth and Alice. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 1 on January 13th, 1824 in Newchurch in Rossendale. His burial was on January 13th, 1824 in Newchurch in Rossendale.²²
