Catherine Mather

Catherine was born about 1776 in Bolton.

  Must be about a year (or more) after Luttice who was born about 1775 but also not baptised.

Catherine's father was John Mather and her mother was Jane (Jennet) Partington.  Her paternal grandparents were John Mather and Mary Meadowcroft. She had four brothers and three sisters, named William, John, Isaac, Isaac, Lettice, Lettice and Mary.  She was the second oldest of the eight children.  She died in June 1776 in Bolton.  She was buried on June 28th, 1776 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹
