Catherine Mather

Catherine was born in 1737 in Little Hulton and her baptism took place on June 21st, 1737 at St. Mary (Deane).¹

Catherine's father was John Mather and her mother was <unknown>. She had eight brothers and two sisters, named Richard, Peter, Thomas, Samuel, Thomas, John, Harry, Noah, Ann and Betty.  She was the third oldest of the eleven children.

‌Catherine and John were married in a religious ceremony on September 2nd, 1766 in Prestwich.²   The family line is yet to be completed.
