Ann was born in 1806 in Manchester and her baptism took place on January 26th, 1806 at Manchester Cathedral.1  Ann's father was Samuel Mather and her mother was Alice Ashton. She had four brothers and five sisters, named John, William, John, William, Elizabeth, Ellen, Alice, Alice and Alice.  She was the fifth oldest of the ten children.  She died at the age of 35 in July 1841.  She was buried in July 1841.2

‌Ann and Auguste were married in a religious ceremony on May 31st, 1825 at Manchester Cathedral.3   They had a son and a daughter, named Gus and Sarah.  There are possibly more children.
