Alice Mather 
Alice was born in 1822 in Manchester and her baptism took place on February 21st, 1819 at Manchester Cathedral.1 Alice's father was Samuel Mather and her mother was Alice Ashton. She had four brothers and five sisters, named John, William, John, William, Elizabeth, Ann, Ellen, Alice and Alice. She was the youngest of the ten children.General Notes
In 1841, Alice (20) and Elizabeth (30) were with their mother Alice (70) in the Greengate district of Salford.
