Amos Mather

Amos was born in 1866 in Darwen.¹

Amos' father was Charles Mather and his mother was Esther Lomax. His paternal grandparents were John Mather and Jane Entwistle. He had six brothers and two sisters, named John, Charles, William, Andrew, James, James, Jane and Deborah. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 40 in December 1906 in Blackburn.²
