Agnes was born in June 1852 in Ramsbottom.¹

Birth Notes

Agnes' father was Thomas Mather and her mother was Margaret Brown. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Mather and Ann Entwistle. She had four brothers named James, John, George and Thomas. She was the third oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 1 in December 1853 in Holcombe.²
