James Lomax

James was born in 1793 in Turton and his baptism took place on November 25th, 1793 at St. Peter's (Bolton).¹

James' father was John Lomax and his mother was Margaret Andrews. He had four brothers and three sisters, named William, Edward, Edward, John, Martha, Elizabeth and Jane. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children.
