Mary Lewis

Mary was born in 1855 in Whiston.¹ Mary's father was James Fairhurst and her mother was Anne Lewis. Her maternal grandparents were Joseph Lewis and Elizabeth Williams. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, Joseph, James, Louis, Peter, John, William, Elizabeth and Ann. She was the oldest of the ten children.
