Albert was born in July 1895 in Bolton.1  Albert's father was Joseph Lee and his mother was Mary Ellen Mather.  His maternal grandparents were Robert Mather (Cunliffe) and Alice Heaton. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Joseph, Robert, Emma and Emily.  He was the second youngest of the five children.  He died at 8 months old in March 1896 in Bolton.  He was buried on March 4th, 1896 at the Heaton Cemetery.2
