Benjamin's father was Benjamin (Ben) Kenney and his mother was Harriet Ellen Nixon. His paternal grandparents were John Kenney and Elizabeth Bennett. He had two brothers and a sister, named Bert, George and Lissie. He was the oldest of the four known children. He died at the age of 79 on July 17th, 1972 in Utah (UT).¹
