Samuel Kay

Samuel was born in March 1850 in Halliwell.¹

Samuel's father was Samuel Kay and his mother was Elizabeth Bridge. His paternal grandparents were Ralph Kay and Ruth Taylor. He had three brothers named William, John and Samuel. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died about 1852 in Bolton.²
