John Kay

John was born in 1854 in Halliwell.¹ John's father was Samuel Kay and his mother was Elizabeth Bridge. His paternal grandparents were Ralph Kay and Ruth Taylor. He had three brothers named William, Samuel and Samuel. He was the third oldest of the four children.
