Mary Hulme

Mary was born on June 1st, 1840 in Chorlton (Lancs) and her baptism took place on July 19th, 1840 in Farnworth.¹

Mary's father was John Hulme Jnr and her mother was Alice Stones. Her maternal grandparents were Simon Stones and Mary Hardman. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Abraham, John, Simon, Daniel, Hannah, Alice, Jane and Alice. She was the oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 73 in October 1913 in Farnworth.
