Sarah's father was John Hopley and her mother was Margaret Reeves.  Her paternal grandparents were Charles Hopley and Mary Maddock. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Charles, Joseph, James, Robert, William, Mary and Anne.  She was the oldest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 3 on November 6th, 1798 in Malpas.  She was buried on November 6th, 1798 in Malpas.^2 3
