Mary was born in 1868 in Bury.¹

Birth Notes

Mary's father was William Henry Greenhalgh and her mother was Mary Ann Shaw. Her paternal grandparents were Squire Greenhalgh and Esther Isherwood. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named James, John, William, Joe, West, Frank, Thomas, Alice, Elizabeth, Mary and Nellie. She was the second oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 3 in 1871 in Bury.¹
