Ellen (Nellie) Greenhalgh

Ellen, known as Nellie, was born in 1890 in Bury.¹

Birth Notes

Nellie's father was William Henry Greenhalgh and her mother was Mary Ann Shaw. Her paternal grandparents were Squire Greenhalgh and Esther Isherwood. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named James, John, William, Joe, West, Frank, Thomas, Mary, Alice, Elizabeth and Mary. She was the youngest of the twelve children.
