My mum remembers that Dora spoke with a very posh accent, dressed smart and had dark hair. After she married Jack, they lived in a bungalow in Blundel Sands, Lancashire. They had no children of her own.
My mum's family and Dora kept in contact at Christmas. Dora came to most of the funerals from mum's (Joan Mather's) side of the family.
Dora and Jack moved into sheltered housing at Saxon House, Saxon Road, Southport before she died.
