Harold's father was
Hermann (Chris) Hinrich Christopher Dittmer and his mother was
Elizabeth (Lilly) Graham. His paternal grandparents were
Johann (Chris) Heinrich Christoph Dittmer and
Katharina (Margaret) Margretha Magdalena Heuer. He had a brother and three sisters, named
Charles,
Dora,
(Elizabeth) and
(Marie). He died in an accident or as a result of an injury, Kiled swinging off a Liverpool Tram, at the age of 30 on April 22nd, 1952 in
Liverpool. He was buried in April 1952 in
Kirkdale.

Death Notes
Harold was a bit of a lad. He used to hang on the outside of the Tram, presumably to avoid paying the fare. This was the undoing of him, as one day when the tram was going around a corner, he swung out and hit his head on a lamp-post. The injury was fatal !
