Margaretta's father was Daniel Daulby and her mother was Maria Davies. Her maternal grandparents were John Davies and Ann Whitfield. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Samuel, Thomas, Daniel, Sarah, Mary, Maria, Louisa, Elizabeth and Esther. She was the nineth oldest of the ten children. She died in November 1868 in Wrexham. Her burial was on November 13th, 1868 in Holt.²
