Sam Crosland

Sam was born in 1859 in Austonley.¹   Sam's father was Jonathan Crosland and his mother was Elizabeth Winpenny.  His paternal grandparents were Joseph Crosland and Jane Sykes. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Tom, Jonathan, Mary, Ann and Jane.  He was the second oldest of the six children. He had a half-brother named John.
