Mary Ann Crosland

Mary was born on April 22nd, 1833 in Whitechapel (Preston) and her baptism took place there on June 23rd, 1833.¹

Mary's father was William Crosland and her mother was Dorothy Kay.  Her paternal grandparents were George Crosland and Mary Cowling; her maternal grandparents were William Kay and Ellen Varley. She had five brothers and a sister, named William, George, Joseph, Charles, James and Mary.  She was the oldest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 2 in July 1835 in Whitechapel (Preston).  She was buried on July 5th, 1835 in Whitechapel (Preston).²
