George Crosland

George's father was William Crosland and his mother was Dorothy Kay.  His paternal grandparents were George Crosland and Mary Cowling; his maternal grandparents were William Kay and Ellen Varley. He had four brothers and two sisters, named William, Joseph, Charles, James, Mary and Mary.  He was the third oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 1 in June 1838 in Whitechapel (Preston).  He was buried on June 13th, 1838 in Whitechapel (Preston).²
