George Crosland

George's father was Ard Crosland and his mother was Phoebe Drake.  His paternal grandparents were Edward Crosland and Hannah Mason. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Edward, David, John, Rhoda, Sarah and Mason.  He was the third oldest of the seven known children.  He died at the age of 70 in November 1880 in Huddersfield.  He was buried on November 4th, 1880 in Highfield (Independent).¹
