Edward was born in 1819.  Edward's father was Ard Crosland and his mother was Phoebe Drake.  His paternal grandparents were Edward Crosland and Hannah Mason. He had three brothers and three sisters, named George, David, John, Rhoda, Sarah and Mason.  He was the third youngest of the seven known children.



Edward's family with Elizabeth Malinson

‌Edward and Elizabeth were married in a religious ceremony in 1837 in Huddersfield.  They had a son named Ard.  There are possibly more children.
