General Notes
There is no marriage of Edward and Hannah before James was born. The closest marriage match is in March 1770 to Hannah Mason. Early baptism records do not name the mother, and in 1773 Edward became a non-conformist, so this is quite possible.
Hannah died in 1808 and Edward 5 years later. Edward and Hannah are buried together at Highfield (Independant).
From the burial it appears that Edward's mother was also Hannah (1825-1899)

Edward and Hannah were married in a religious ceremony on March 20th, 1770 at St. Peter (Huddersfield).2 They had eight sons and two daughters, named James, John, Benjamin, John, Joseph, Edward, Ard, Edy, Nanny and Hannah. There are possibly more children.
