Martha Crook

Martha was born in 1822 in Bolton.¹

Martha's father was Christopher Crook and her mother was Margaret Donovan. Her paternal grandparents were James Crook and Mary Crook. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Cornelius, Christopher, Mary, Esther, Alice and Elizabeth. She was the third oldest of the seven children.

- In 1851, Martha Entwistle (30) was the sister-in-law of John and Esther Horrocks in Blackburn. Daughter Eliza (4) was with her.
