Christopher was born on November 3rd, 1782 in Halliwell and his baptism took place on December 15th, 1782 in Bradshaw.1 2  Christopher's father was James Crook and his mother was Mary Crook.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 77 on June 2nd, 1860 in Bolton.  He was buried on June 6th, 1860 at St. Mary (Deane).3 1

‌Christopher and Margaret were married in a religious ceremony on April 11th, 1814 in Cork.1   They had two sons and five daughters, named Cornelius, Christopher, Mary, Martha, Esther, Alice and Elizabeth.
