James Crook

James was born in February 1871 in Bolton.¹

James' father was John Crook and his mother was Elizabeth Mitchell. His paternal grandparents were Jacob Crook and Jane Robinson. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Jacob, John, William, Henry, Charlotte and Elizabeth. He was the third oldest of the seven children.
