Mary A Carter

Mary was born in 1856 in Saddleworth.¹ Mary's father was George Carter and her mother was Mary Buckley. Her paternal grandparents were William Carter and Betty Stancliffe; her maternal grandparents were John Buckley and Alice Rhodes. She had six brothers named William, John, Frederick, Edward, George and Daniel. She was the fourth oldest of the seven children.
