Isaac's father was William Campion and his mother was Ann Lewis.  His maternal grandparents were James Lewis and Bridget Nowland. He had three brothers and three sisters, named James, John, William, Ann, Mary and Elizabeth.  He was the oldest of the seven children.  He died in 1852 in Neston.¹
