Ann was born in 1826 in Neston and her baptism took place there on March 24th, 1826.1  Ann's father was James Lewis and her mother was Bridget Nowland.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Lewis and Elizabeth Beard. She had two brothers and a sister, named Richard, John and Elizabeth.  She was the oldest of the four children.  She died due to a respiratory problem and/or pneumonia, Bronchitis & Senile Decay, at the age of 78 on October 13th, 1904 at Park Gate.2

‌Ann and William were married in a religious ceremony on October 14th, 1851 in Liverpool.3  They had four sons and three daughters, named Isaac, James, John, William, Ann, Mary and Elizabeth.  There are no more children.
