Ann was born in March 1860 in Neston.¹

Ann's father was William Campion and her mother was Ann Lewis.  Her maternal grandparents were James Lewis and Bridget Nowland. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Isaac, James, John, William, Mary and Elizabeth.  She was the third youngest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 16 in 1876 in Neston.²
