Joseph Burgess

Joseph was born in 1876 in Sharples.¹ Joseph's father was Joseph Burgess and his mother was Alice Nightingale. His maternal grandparents were William Nightingale and Peggy (Margaret) Riding. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Eliza, John, Annie and Maggie. He was the youngest of the five children.
