Sarah was born in December 1867 in Hayfield.1  Sarah's father was Benjamin Buckley and her mother was Eliza Bradburn.  Her paternal grandparents were Abner Buckley and Sarah Needham. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Abner, Cornelius, Isaac, Minerva and Mary.  She was the third youngest of the six children.  She died at 9 months old in September 1868 in Oldham.1
