John H Brooks

John was born in 1875 in Broughton (Salford).¹   John's father was John Brooks and his mother was Ellen Parkes.  His paternal grandparents were James Brooks and Hannah Rothwell. He had two brothers and four sisters, named James, Thomas, Mary, Edith, Annie and Florence.  He was the second youngest of the seven children. He had a half-brother named William.
