Benjamin was born in 1874 in Failsworth.¹

Birth Notes

Benjamin's father was Thomas Brierley and his mother was Mary Bolton. His maternal grandparents were Richard Bolton and Maria Aspinall. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Abraham, James, Lily, Mary and May. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 1 in 1875 in Failsworth.¹
