John Blackburn

John was born on May 21st, 1801 in Newsome and his baptism took place on June 18th, 1801 in Almondbury.¹

John's father was Michael Blackburn and his mother was Hannah Eastwood.  His paternal grandparents were Michael Blackburn and Hannah Scover. He had three brothers named Joseph, George and Uriah.  John and Joseph were twins. He had a half-sister named Hannah.  He died at the age of 69 on March 17th, 1871 in Newsome.  He was buried on March 21st, 1802 in Almondbury.^1 2
