Ann's father was Thomas Billington and her mother was Mary Brereton.  Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Brereton and Mary Buckley. She had four brothers and six sisters, named Samuel, James, William, Thomas, Jane, Mary, Martha, Hannah, Elizabeth and Hannah.  She was the second oldest of the eleven children.  She died at the age of 37 in March 1860 in Tarvin.  She was buried on March 2nd, 1860 in Tarvin.¹
