In 1891, Benjamin and Emma (38 & 34) are at Connah's Quay with Elizabeth (13), Gertrude (10), Thomas (8), Hannah M (5), Benjamin (4) and John (1).
In 1901, Benjamin (47) was a River Dee Pilot. He was living at 3 Railway Terrace, Connah's Quay with wife Emma (44), Gertrude (21), Thomas (19), Hannah Marie (16), Benjamin (14), John (12) and Eleanor (9).
In 1911, Benjamin and Emma (55 & 52) were at 7 Railway Terrace, Connah's Quay with Benjamin (23), John (21) and Samuel (9)
