Benjamin (Banner) Bennett

Benjamin, known as Banner, was born on May 26th, 1853 in Connah's Quay and his baptism took place in 1853 in Hawarden.¹

Birth Notes
- amholmes125: Benjamin was born 26 May 1853, son of Benjamin BENNETT and Mary HEWITT, baptised that year. 1873 marriage certificate states a Benjamin was his father.
  
  There is no birth registered for Benajamin, although there is for Thomas:

Banner's father was Benjamin Bennett and his mother was Mary Hewitt. His paternal grandparents were Edward Bennett and Mary Hughes. He had four brothers and five sisters, named John, Samuel, Humphrey, Joseph, Mary, Mary, Priscilla, Maria and Martha. He was the seventh oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 67 on April 9th, 1921 in Connah's Quay.

  In 1901, Benjamin (47) was a River Dee Pilot. He was living at 3 Railway Terrace, Connah's Quay with wife Emma (44), Gertrude (21), Thomas (19), Hannah Marie (16), Benjamin (14), John (12) and Eleanor (9).
  
  In 1911, Benjamin and Emma (55 & 52) were at 7 Railway Terrace, Connah's Quay with Benjamin (23), John (21) and Samuel (9)
