Richard Battarbee

Richard was born in March 1804 in Malpas and his baptism took place there on March 21st, 1804.¹

Richard's father was George Batarbee and his mother was Mary Richards. His paternal grandparents were John Batterbury and Elizabeth Kempster; his maternal grandparents were Richard Richards and Anne Phythian. He had two brothers and two sisters, named George, Thomas, Anne and Mary. He was the fourth oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 72 on September 19th, 1876 in Malpas.²
