George Battarbee

George was born on October 28th, 1824 in Malpas.¹

George's father was George Battarbee and his mother was Margaret Palin. His paternal grandparents were George Batarbee and Mary Richards. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Joseph, Charles, Richard, Mary, Ann, Margaret, Harriet, Fanny and Emma. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 88 on January 17th, 1913.
