Henry Batho

Henry was born in 1822 in Malpas and his christening took place there on December 22nd, 1822.¹

Henry's father was George Batho and his mother was Martha Cartwright. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named John, George, Charles, Mary, Elizabeth, Anne, Sarah, Eliza, Martha and Jane. He was the tenth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 76 on October 25th, 1898 in Birkenhead.²

General Notes
- Henry married Mary Fogg, and moved to Birkenhead, Cheshire. They had a son Henry, a schoolmaster and a daughter Mary born 1864. This could be the Mary that George Brereton married.
  
  They moved from Birkenhead to Tranmere about 1846.
