Birth Notes

Arthur's father was William Ashton and his mother was Elizabeth Eddowes. His maternal grandparents were Thomas Eddowes and Martha Jones. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, William, Charles, Harry, Amy and Elizabeth. He was the third youngest of the seven children.
