Mary (Polly) Giddings 
Mary, known as Polly, was born on September 1st, 1764 in Hartland, Hartford County, Connecticut.1 Polly's father was Thomas Giddings Jr and her mother was Mary Coult. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Giddings and Sarah Andrews. She had four brothers and six sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named David, Dan, Thomas, Silas, Miriam, Jabez, Mary, Miriam, Lydia, Temperence and Festus. She was the fourth youngest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 67 on October 28th, 1831 in Bloomfield, Hartland, Hartford Co., CT.1 General Notes
