David Giddings 
David was born on June 18th, 1747 in Lyme, New London County, Connecticut.1 David's father was Thomas Giddings Jr and his mother was Mary Coult. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Giddings and Sarah Andrews. He had three brothers and seven sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Dan, Thomas, Silas, Miriam, Jabez, Mary, Miriam, Polly, Lydia, Temperence and Festus. He was the oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 45 on August 8th, 1792 in Hartland, Hartford County, Connecticut.1 General Notes
